Long ago before I became a Veterinarian, I was cracked on by the best and the worst Chiropractors. I had had back problems as a child for one reason or another, and when I started to ride at an early age, I had my share of crashes. When Ramona bucked me off during my lst year at Davis, I did some serious damage. I had pain then that never stopped, just got better or worse depending on the Chiropractor. When I had started my Acupuncture training much later on, I met a young woman who did Directional Non-Force Chiropractic work. In fact, she had just graduated from conventional Chiropractic school and was determined to do this “alternative” technique. After she treated my old, long-standing back problems, and I supported it with Acupuncture – I have never had those old pains ever again. It made me a believer. I swore then that I would learn these and other soft techniques, and take it to my patients. I have since sent scores of my clients to Directional Non-Force Chiropractors with absolutely astonishing results.

Most of the problems that you will hear the Chiropractors call “subluxations,” are really stuck vertebra, caused by muscle spasms around the joints. In all animals, as you breathe, each joint must be free to move with the breath. If this does not happen, it causes intense pain. When these small muscles relax, the joints can start to function normally and the bio-energy can function normally as well. These soft and very specific techniques lead to long-term deep healing, as I can personally attest to, and thousands of horses will agree.

Do not let someone jerk and crack your horses. It is not only ineffective, has to be repeated many times, but in many cases, it is also very dangerous!!!!

This baby suffered a trauma shortly after birth and severely misaligned his first cervical vertebra. He is developing normally now, but he needed help with Chiropractic adjustments and acupuncture.
